Xavier Michaud is the Technical Director for the Waking Death: Arts and Culture Series, ensuring the technical needs of guest artists are met. Xavier is a student at the University of Lethbridge in his final year of studies in the Tech and Design program. Focused primarily on lighting design Xavier is passionate about all aspects of technical theatre. This past summer he has worked on the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show, done a design internship on a production of Zuabar at the Roy Hart Center in Melaragues France Currently he is also acting as the Technical Director for TheatreXtra, a student led theatre company out of the University of Lethbridge as well as doing the Lighting Design for the first Mainstage production of the year Suessified Christmas Carol.
