Kristin Krein (she/they) is a community builder, artist, eldest child and recovering people pleaser. People have forever filled my cup, I hold this fascination with what makes someone themselves: stories, hurt, joy, passions, systems, efforts, beginnings, endings. I approach death with a compassion, and a curiosity for its rituals. I am unlearning my off-putting Christian Western upbringings coldness and avoidance of death and acknowledge my privilege in not knowing death intimately in this lifetime. I adore Caitlin Doughty and if I were not dreaming of becoming a therapist, I would be a funeral director.
