Death Cafes are safe, open, and respectful places to talk about death and dying. At a Death Cafe, people gather to drink tea, eat cake, and discuss death.
This is a group-directed, community-based, discussion of death with no agenda, objective, or theme. Death, dying, and grief affect us all, yet many people avoid talking about it. Death Cafes help to create space where these conversations can exist and flow – with the intention of helping us all live a more death-positive and fulfilling life.
All opinions, voices, stories, tears, jokes, and hopes are welcome! Come share with us, chat about death, and leave feeling a little lighter!
